In October, we opened our satellite, community-based office at Blacktown Exercise and Sports Technology Hub (BEST). This new office fosters our collaboration with our co-located partners in the education, health, sports medicine and research sectors. BEST is designed to integrate services with local providers, improving community health and wellbeing.
Situated on Darug land, at the heart of our PHN region, BEST aligns with our strategic priorities for serving the Western Sydney population. The site provides numerous opportunities for ongoing collaboration and stakeholder engagement with similar industry organisations and promotes community involvement.
BEST was officially opened to the public in November with guest speaker, Cathy Freeman OAM, unveiling the plaque before helping the late Mayor of Blacktown, Tony Bleasdale OAM, Ray Messom, previous CEO of WentWest, and other partners to cut the ribbon and officially open the new $100m facility.
