The Career in Focus initiative was developed in response to discussions and engagement survey feedback.
The initiative aims to recognise the exceptional work of our team members and celebrate their diverse backgrounds and experiences. This program highlights the unique journeys of our colleagues, showcasing their achievements both at WentWest and beyond. It provides a platform to celebrate the rich diversity within our workforce and the unique contributions each individual makes to our organisation.

She has exemplified our commitment to learning and development by earning a distinction average for her Professional Diploma in Human Resources (HR) from the Australian Human Resource Institute and certification as an HR Practitioner through the National Certification Council. Continuously expanding her skillset through various formal and informal courses, Lisa has solidified her reputation as a People Leader and HR Business Partner.
One of Lisa’s most significant contributions has been her pivotal role in the development and implementation of the WentWest Wellbeing and Flexibility Framework. This innovative initiative revolutionised our work environment, reinforcing our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of all team members. Her efforts earned her the WentWest Employee Spotlight Award and won the organisation a Silver place for the Best Workplace Flexibility Program at the Australian HR Awards, recognising her excellence and innovation.
As a key leader within the organisation, Lisa continues to hone her leadership skills through her involvement in and stewardship of the Ignite Leadership program, where she serves as an ambassador and role model for leadership and people management. She has also led the development and implementation of the WentWest Innovation and Engagement Collective (IEC), driving significant people and culture initiatives.
